    Every late January to early February yearly, the City of Vigan holds a big celebration where streets will be full of colors, floats, indigenous deigns such as banigs, and loud long firework shows lighting up the sky. There will be lots of festivals that will take pace here in this city with various celebrities coming to participate in  every celebrations. From street dances to big concerts to large colorful parades.

    One thing that is well known in this event is the Tawid Kultura of Vigan Kannawidan, it showcases one town one product of our province o Ilocos Sur. This plays a vital role on letting many tourists to have knowledge about these spectacular iconic products that your town offers them to taste, or even take them home! 

    Then here comes this loud parades, playing the theme song of Kannawidan where you can hear everywhere in the city. Colorful floats, street dances, countless of cameras will be flashing and officials will also come over to watch! This attracts many people to watch spectacular shows as it showcases one of the most popular product of the city such as Vigan Longanisa, which helps many people enjoy and to be entertained.

   It is significant for our economy as tourism plays a major role for a particular place to progress as a result of being a source of income. Not just for the economy but they will get to learn how diverse and wide our culture. Not just an advantage for the city, not even the province, but the country as a whole.
